I recently spent Christmas at Hotel Allende in La Paz, and it was quite the delightful experience. The location is unbeatable-just a short stroll from the bustling Malecon, where you can indulge in local eateries and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. After a long kayak trip, we were especially grateful for the helpful staff and the much-needed laundry service; it truly made a world of difference! Our room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious, providing a great balance of modern amenities and rustic charm-perfect for our little tribe of like-minded adventure seekers. With air conditioning working flawlessly and solid WiFi, we managed to stay connected while enjoying the peace and quiet of the hotel, away from the nearby bar's noise. Plus, the views from the balcony, overlooking the ocean, were simply breathtaking and perfect for sipping a morning coffee with my fellow explorers. All-in-all, Hotel Allende was a lovely home base to recharge while discovering the rich culture and striking beauty of La Paz. A recommended stay for anyone on a quest for both relaxation and adventure!
